Sometimes I have something to say, and here is where I say it. Lots of talk about disability, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, general geekiness, family and friends, and whatever shiny captures my attention at the moment.

Gotta love the gender bias. . .
You know, for a long time, doctors believed that EDS was far more common in men than women. They believed the same of asthma, and, as is being talked about now, heart disease. In all these cases, the truth was that the disorders were at least as common among women as among men, but that the doctors discounted symptoms in women.
